riverfish Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 get your flippin sticks out cause its on! at least for a couple days. i personally like it when the lake gets a little higher than normal and up in the bushes. not necessarily flooding high but a little higher than normal. i figured i would start this just to see what people on the forum style/favorite type of fishing is after all it is about time where we all should be doing what we love style wise

Members rangerman50 Posted March 22, 2012 Members Posted March 22, 2012 Pitching/Flipping a jig or a tube into the bushes and laydowns on the bank I stay locked and loaded for that thump!!! Love it when we get a 2 or 3 foot rise and the timing should be perfect for it.
duckydoty Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 I have been re-learning all this lake fishing stuff over the last couple of weeks. I've been toting the flyrod out every time and love getting the small windows of opportunity on surface busting fish. Every time I've been on the Rock the last 2 weeks, while looking for crappie, I;ve been able to catch a few bass on the fly rod. Love it! A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!!
