I found this recipe for a beautiful boat....

This boat is made from "sow's ear" material. I don't think it rates being a "silk purse", but it turned out ok, for what it came from.

2 - 22" cut offs of 1/4" BC pine plywood for the floor

2 - $ 5.00 each sheets of bargin bin Luan

Left over 1 X ? pine boards

Stems and batter boards made from pine and white oak Swampwood and I logged, and milled ourselvs.

1/2 quart left over varnish

1 - $8.00 gal. of returned paint. Lady at ACE remixed the color for us.

Maybe $5.00 glue and ring nails.

Total cost less than $75.00.

Very neat link.
