Spring Channels

Been picking up one or two nice cats each time I go lately. All in or near the back of coves at 5 to 10' deep. No numbers yet but should be soon.

Been doing the same.Thinking hit the Crappie and Whites then jump all over Blugill,Catfish and Carp.At least that's the Game Plan.

the ones i've been catching were in 3-5' of water, near the backs of coves and FAT. and on bass baits.

Most of mine have come in the back of coves also. Picked up a 6.4 lber today. Full of eggs and about a week awayfrom spawning.

Gonna go for a try this weekend depending on the rain. Anything inparticular they are biting?

Your going to think I am nuts but I like to use fairly large (2 to 3") live minnows in hte spring. If I can't gt them then I use river worms.

When it comes to cats, aint nobody nuts!! Just more creative than the rest.

I'm more than likely going to bring some shrimp, livers and worms. May pick up a few minners too. Anyone know where to get Secret 7 dip bait in the Branson area? Wanted to give it a try too.

Im going to bridgeport tomorrow night. Will be trying live and cut perch, and possible shad if I can get some dipped. Will make a report if I find anything worth chasing.
