Ranger520vx Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 Never bass fished this part of LOZ but want to give it a try in late April. I know they could be runnin a lot of water at that time of the year and was Wondering how that affects the bass fishing in that area. I bass fish a lot on other lakes just haven't had to try to get on the fish In a high current situation like that and want to give it a try any Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and tight lines to all
Wayne SW/MO Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 If you fish some of the old sloughs and creek mouths below the 65 bridge you won't have to worry about current. Between the tailwater and the 65 bridge the current isn't real bad near the banks, but it will depend on the day. There's no current in the old channel, but it's to busy to bass fish in my opinion. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
