The river was up a little higher than normal today. Did well on a variety of things. The biggest producer was the red zebra midge. Sz #18. I fished up stream from Parker Bottoms (just north of the parking lot) and managed 2 nice little browns! Caugth them back to back fishing the red midge 18-20 inches under an indicator. I was excited about the first one because I havent caught many Browns below Beaver.....but the 2nd bigger Brown just made my day! I caught several little Bows on the same midge, and a few on some small jigs that I was playing around with. All fished below an indicater. The weather was nice and once I was able to navigate the higher water without overflowing my waders, I found some fish!

Here are the two browns I caught. Not the biggest, but still a blast to watch as they jumped in attempt to throw the hook before I got them in the net!

I like fishing below Beaver, but am still new to these waters, so please excuse the question. Where exactly is Parker Bottoms? I have been fishing the 2nd and last (3rd) accesses below the dam. Am I close?

Looks like the 2nd brown is adipose clipped which I believe means it was stocked by AGFC as a fingerling. Can't tell on the first fish. But nevertheless, beautiful fish!

F&F, does Co Rd 136 end at Parker Bottoms?
