On Our Way To Branson

Hello! My name is Jon Gunzel. I've lived in Arizona most of the past 35 years and am moving my family to Branson in April. We are looking forward to the change of scenery and to the fantastic outdoor lifestyle. We visited the Ozarks in February and fell in love with the area and the people.

I am a professional photographer and was a professional fishing guide in Arizona. We'll be focusing on our art work after the move, and keeping more to the recreational side of fishing. My wife Trina and kids Wyatt (7) and Abbie (2) are all wonderful fishermen and are really excited to be relocating.

If anyone has a nice home near Branson/Table Rock to lease or owner carry purchase, please let me know as we will be in the area begining April 11th and need to lock down a wonderful home to start our new life in. Looking for something 3 bed, 2 bath with a 24 foot deep garage for my bass boat.

I am so excited to have found this website and hope to be a great contributer in the near future. Thank you for the great site and resources.

I have suggested this forum to many members of another board about general Branson things from lodging, to shows, to restaurants when they had outdoor, and fishing questions. So I'll recommend that one to you for a lot of up to date information, and opinions about Branson.

Branson is a great place to raise a family. It's a very different kind of town though... most everything circles around tourism. Kinda hard to explain. When I go back to my home town in Kansas, I notice the difference right off. I miss the small town, home town feeling but I still like Branson.

Drop by and say hi. We'll help in any way we can. I do have some friends in the real estate business. You'll find out it's not cheap living here compared to communities to our north. A lot of ppl commute just for that reason. But you're coming at a good time. Jobs and housing are starting to open up for the season.

Arizona is one of my favorite places. Where are/were you located there? I've fished most of the lakes and streams in the rim area. MO is definitely a different kind of locale, but it is a wonderful place, and you will be expected to "make yo'seff ta 'ome"!!!!!
