9LB
I had some luck last weekend with the walleyes so I went back up Tue night to try a few of my favorite spots. I had to work a little but did manage 5 keepers out of 7 fish. No real big ones 18.5 the biggest but boy they are going to fry up well ! I used walleye type baits and fished the spots the Walleyes are supposed to be. I will be up this weekend and will have some pics for you next week. Nwtf gobbler
Remember, just because they caught 5 keepers does not necessarily mean they kept 5. However, culling, if that is what happened, is also illegal too I believe.
watermen
Relax, your making some ridiculous assumptions on all your parts. He never said he kept any just like bass anglers report how many of the fish were caught of keeper size. There might of been 2 people in boat or he might have threw three keepers backand only kept two. It's hard to pin someone as a poacher with a post that may be misconstrued. He may well have kept all five, but nowhere in his post does he state clearly he broke the law and any assumption he did is pointless and counterproductive. 9LB. thanks for the report and try and take your time before posting and realize not everyone thinks before posting their remarks. It's a report of good fishing people, take it for what it's worth and try and not jump on someone without a good verifiable reason.

9LB
Thanks all for looking out. I am no poacher and practice catch and release about 90% of the time. I will keep some walleyes vs buying them at Harter House for $16 per pound. I actually only kept 2. Dinner for me and the Mrs. I started two years ago throwing back all the Walleyes thinking that instead of cathing 14 - 16" fish the next year they would all be 17 - 20". I guess all the ones I threw back did not grow a bit because I sure seem to keep catching them 14 - 16 inches.
dennis boatman
...years ago when the minimum was 18", I rarely caught one under that...and now, seems most are right at 15"...interesting... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Feathers and Fins
Lordy talk about opening mouth and inserting both feet. How about before shooting off about inferring someone is a poacher you simply ask how many the person kept! So 9lb whatch catching them on and what depth were they in. Im curious as I have been finding them on Beaver in 8 to 12 feet of water stacked up pretty good. I hope to target them this weekedn if my leg is feeling better. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
duckydoty
We found a bunch of them in 6 to 12 feet of water close to a flat where chunk rock turned to pea gravel and there was a little bit of timber on a wind blown bank yesterday up a Stocton. Our group ended up bringing home 7 keepers and the largest was close to 27 inches. One side of the tree was walleye, the other crappie. A Little Rain Won't Hurt Them Fish.....They're Already Wet!!
