Feathers and Fins Posted April 10, 2012 Posted April 10, 2012 I couldnt take sitting on my duff one more day spider bite be darn. I headed out to the lake and went in search of something anything as long as it pulled my line. Got on the lake about 4:15 and headed for the clean water, found it east of Ventres and started looking for fish. I ran into some large schools of Gar and with a fly pole in the boat and some of Duckys flies I went after them. Pulled of 5 of these guys before I went looking for other fish. I found some stripers and whites. Not bad size stripers were puching the mid-teens and the whites were about a pound each. Did get a couple decent hybrids to go with them up to about 10 pnds. All in all not bad for 4 hours. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

Last night it was right at last light. I am going back out tonight to meet up with some trouble makers that rumor has it have fly rods and a desire to attemp the Linesides. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
