This time one of the pocket mini 9's A KAHR Arms CM9. Gotta get a local FFL to send the paperwork with a copy of his license to the NRA Central warehouse in Columbia to get it sent to him.

With a little too much watching of Storage Wars I just wasn't going to let some guy bid me up on this little beauty. Probably paid a couple bucks more than I would have had I shopped around, but not much. Besides it was at the NRA Foundation Banquet and Auction Thursday night, and the money goes to supportthe NRA shooting programs. Helping our youth learn the enjoyment of the shooting sports, and the importance of our second amendment rights is well worth what I spent on the gun!

BTW, the Convention was terrific. Sorry I didn't get to spend more time there. Banquet/ Auction Thursday night. The EXPO Saturday. then some fun entertainment from Larry the Cable Guy Saturday night followed by a tremendous presentation by Glenn Beck. Don't know if I'll make Huston next year, but Indy is already on my schedule for 2014!!!

I finally got around to having my CM9 sent to a local FFL from the NRA distribution Center in Columbia. Got it the next day, Thanks much to Denny Dennis Sporting Goods of Fenton for doing the transfer for free because it was from an NRA charity event.. Great hunting, fishing, and shooting shop. A REAL sporting goods without a bat, ball, wicket, or racket in sight!!!

Now to the KAHR CM9. 200 flawless rounds of Winchester FMJ range ammo. Very accurate, and any misses were clearly all me! 20 or 30 rounds of Winchester NATO spec 124 gr. 9MM. Again totally reliable, and accurate. I also tried a couple boxes of self defense ammo. Hornady Zombie Max. Don't laugh, it's Critical Defense with a green instead of red tip in a silly looking box. But three bucks a box cheaper than CD. Again flawless, and accurate. The one, and only jam came on the second shot of the first magazine full of Speer Gold Dot +P Short Barrel I also tried. I'm thinking it was something in the way I loaded the mag, and not the gun, or ammo. The remaining 18 rounds were perfect, accurate, and I could tell by the recoil a bit more powerful than all the rest.

Great little gun, and I'm pleased to be rewarded with such a prize for my auction bid donation to the NRA!

Cool.

Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me)
