Feathers and Fins Posted April 19, 2012 Posted April 19, 2012 Im going to go out on a limb with this one, But with what ive been seeing and catching 4 day tourney and im betting winning weight will be 73.5! If the guys find the bass ive been playing with then i would bet that weight would be attainable. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Quillback Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 Yep 73.5 would be a good bag for Beaver. I'm going to go below that and say 60 lbs. I'm thinking that if someone gets 15 lbs. per day they can win. But if there's an A-rig bite, I'm guessing the bags will be higher, maybe 70-80 to win? Should start seeing a lot of wrapped boats on Beaver next week pre-fishing.
Stump bumper Posted April 20, 2012 Posted April 20, 2012 200 boats pre fishing plus tournaments going on this weekend will sore mouth so many fish I am guessing by the time of the tournament 12lbs a day will be in the top ten and winning weight about 55lbs. With the local tournaments and the FLW there will be days with 250-300 boats with two rods each hitting every likely spot between the lower white to the darn. A week or so after I bet you could win a tourney fishing between PC and ventris though with a 20lb plus bag easily. With the cooler weather and dropping water I think the fish will stay up shallow and the A-rig bite won't turn on that much, not that they wouldn't work in shallow water just that there are much easier ways to fish shallow water. I think this next two weeks is a great time to fish the Rock.....
Feathers and Fins Posted April 20, 2012 Author Posted April 20, 2012 LOL. Im not telling any of them where im getting all my fish,,, but i do know a few people on this site know where im fishing. Havent seen one bass guy fishing there all week and im betting they dont even think about it.
