jdmidwest
Its been a few weeks since the last morel. They were a part of the first batch. 1 site had morels this year, the other 4 good producers did not make a one. Another part in a farther away county did the same, only 1 batch. We went for 3 weeks without any rain and had temps in the 80's. This week has been more normal, but no morels. Any one having any luck finding them lately? vonreed
The last ones I found were over a week ago. They're finished for the most part. Some cooler places like north facing spots or places in the cedars might still be producing, but all my spots are finished.

Walleyedmike
Found a few earlier in the week...in Nebraska. Going out for probably the last time up here next Tuesday. The good news is, I talked to my Uncle today and they haven't come on for him yet...in South Dakota. Keep after in JD, there's gotta still be a few out down south! Members kirbydog
You learn something every day. Didn't know that a morel is a mushroom, had to look it up.
