Members bsteele02 Posted April 25, 2012 Members Posted April 25, 2012 I don't own a boat and Mark Twain lake is the closest big lake to where I live at, so I was thinking around my birthday treating myself and a buddy of mine to a guided fishing trip on Mark Twain. Do any of you know of any guides or have any suggestions? Thanks!
MoSportsmen Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Timber ridge resort and/ or Cannon dam general store could get you in touch with someone. I have seen some guides post photos on their face book pages but can't remember the guides names. Messing about in boats

Riverwhy Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I went to Mark Twain yesterday and fished from the bank with minnows for a couple of hours. Caught ten crappie. Shortest was 10" the longest was 12". Mostly females with eggs.
Jerry Rapp Posted April 26, 2012 Posted April 26, 2012 I would check with Charlie and Sonnie Kunkle. They own 154 Marine in Perry, MO. I bet they could hook you up with a good guide. Google them. They are nice people.
dave potts Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Might check with Ron or Mary at South Fork Resort also. They also have a good blog on their web site for fishing and lake conditions. Dave
