bobber Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 took a trip with a group from the arkansas canoe club. great day! but the water was ice cold and fishing was off ,only caught 2 (in the boat) both were large than normal , but had lots of pick it up, and run with it hits .this float was a short one only 4 miles, and a good one for new floaters <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*

"you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
bobber Posted October 15, 2006 Author Posted October 15, 2006 well our gasganade trip, turned out to be a buffalo trip instead! a pretty darn good one at that! we floated the first day tyler bend to gilbert and the second day we went up stream to baker's ford and came back to tyler both trips were in the 5 mile range . we'd put in around 9 30 after biskets and gravy and be loaded and heading back to camp at 530 to make it too the b b q place by 8 <*)))))))>< * AMERICAN CANOE ASSOCIATION CERTIFIED CANOE, and SWIFT WATER RESCUE INSTRUCTOR.*
