Leonard Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Felt the need to play today.. I lasted about 45 minutes on my feet and had to call it quits! wanted to test a new fly prototype but had the chance to catch 1 fish.. and got him good!! I think that PMS works on just about any fish! MAAAHHHHHHH WOW what a BLAST that was!! sighting fishing is amazing to see a beast like this eat a fly! *** May have to do this more often**** Thanks John for the picture... http://www.taneycomonights.com
Gatorjet Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Nice Bugle Mouth Brown! Was it a kernel of corn colored PMS? Real men go propless!
Buzz Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Way to go Leonard. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
Gavin Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Nice bugle lips...15 is ...common...knock down a 30.;>)!
laker67 Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 Nice bugle lips...15 is ...common...knock down a 30.;>)! First thing, nice fish Leonard. Second thing, I would think a 30lb carp would be hard to come by in missouri. I have baited up and caught many at loz. largest caught was an 18lb on 5x, largest witnessed coming in to the bait was not much larger than the 18. I have done that for several years and never witnessed a carp much larger than 20.
tippet7 Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 carp are nasty, but fun to catch. glad i had my camera handy, otherwise.....no picture no fish You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
Addicted to Creeks Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 ....it may be the rum, but i cant stop laughing at that Fish always lose by being "got in and dressed." It is best to weigh them while they are in the water. The only really large one I ever caught got away with my leader when I first struck him. He weighed ten pounds. —Charles Dudley Warner
Cocry Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 I saw this a while back and as soon as I saw Leo's post, I had to find it. I laugh my butt off every time I see it.
