Members bcfish Posted May 17, 2012 Members Posted May 17, 2012 I am a big guy and when I do overnighters I take lots of stuff. That means I am flirting with spray all day. When I bounce off the bottom or a stray rock I get sprayed plugs are a good fix. Pop one out drain and done.
Mitch f Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Stoneroller and MOsmallies; Do you guys have any ideas for a new piece of hardware for the kayak industry? I have access to all the technology to make it happen if you have any good ideas. Scott at one point wanted me to scan a kayak body to make a custom fit foam insert. I'm thinking of maybe a conformal " hard saddle bag" to hold lures, or a titanium or aluminum or even magnesium clevis? Anything can be made to order for your kayak model. Gavin Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 Custom coolers for SOT kayaks...Figure that most Mfgs are missing an opportunaty to sell custom coolers, or an insert to secure a cooler as an add on option.
Stoneroller Posted May 21, 2012 Posted May 21, 2012 igloo makes a cooler that fits inside a milk crate perfectly. I will do some brainstorming and see what I can come up with. There are plenty of areas where some kind of product can be developed for kayak anglers. Hell, we may not even know we need it yet! Fish On Kayak Adventures, LLC. MOsmallies Posted May 22, 2012 Author Posted May 22, 2012 Thanks for the offer Mitch... I'll see if I can think of something as well. I may just need to spend more time on the water to really figure out what is needed. Paul
