Quillback Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 The best natural solution seems to be grass carp. We've got those also, but they can't seem to control it by themselves.
Outside Bend Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 Grass carp are really good at grazing down rooted aquatic plants like coontail, but typically won't eat much filamentous algae. If you go that route, it's wise to stock light. Those young grass carp will someday be 15-20 lbs, with pretty hefty appetites. <{{{><
