WakenLake Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Ive just heard of a tournament where top water frogs are only used. Sounds interesting, has anyone heard of or fished one of these types of tournaments? www.jordanvalleyautorepair.com
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Sounds interesting. I have not heard, but I could imagine it would be a good turnout. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Al Agnew Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Sounds interesting, but I'd think you'd have to pick your time of year. Mid-summer on an Ozark reservoir, you could fish one all day many days and not catch anything because the fish wouldn't be up shallow. Often thought, though, that it would be interesting to have a "one lure" tournament like the one fly tournaments the trout people have in some places. You can only take one lure in the boat with you. You pick the lure. If you lose it you're done. Sure would save a lot of the stress I always felt during a tournament day about whether I was using the right lure or not...the stress would all come before the tournament when I had to choose my one lure.
