I just read your piece on Common carp (thugs). Good article. I like chasing them but I agree with your viewpoints. I wonder what some areas I fish would look like without them. I could go for chasing native rough fish instead anyway (gar, etc, but it seems like the carp are always there).

Great sport fish but it's scary to think about people wanting to stock them and make them even MORE abundant.
