Nortrad Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Fly fishing loses another giant. A loss to our sport. http://idylwilde.com/wordpress/
Members dsigmon Posted June 15, 2012 Members Posted June 15, 2012 Sad news! He helped me love fishing the Fall River. I still have some flies he tied and gave to me "for later on". I can see his face in the sun on the day he got his new boat on the water, and his energy and love for teaching what he loved. We fished the Hex that evening, and all was magical - "sailboat" wings popping up everywhere, and Bob saying "wait, wait - get that one over by the weeds. And I did get that one by the weeds, and my life found true passion. Thank you, Bob! A true gentleman and fisherman.
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Very nice article. Sorry to hear about your friend. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)
