dennis boatman Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 Caught this today. What do you think? A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Wayne SW/MO Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 If they survive very long in the river they do change their appearance. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
dennis boatman Posted June 15, 2012 Author Posted June 15, 2012 I fish that section between Bennett and NRO quite often and this was the prettiest I've caught. We had a pretty good day yesterday. I'd say we caught 10 and the crowd was not bad at all. A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Greasy B Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 That's one good looking fish. Have have often wondered how long it takes hatchery fish to grow back it's fins and heal the sores from concrete and the constant biting and nipping that takes place in the hatchery troughs. I suspect it's related to water fertility and growth rates. Sometimes I catch a really good looking fish with no pectoral fins at all, I guess if they get bit down enough they never do grow back. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
