RICK,enjoyed the wonderful story of the one that didn't get away.Maybe your future lies in broadcasting as you handled the interview quiet well.Your insight into sight fishing techniques should be required listening for the beginner to advanced fly fisherman.Aren't you glad you didn't go to Wis. that fall.

You are too kind my good friend, thank you. Don't think I will be jumping into broadcasting just yet. LOL. My thanks also to Rod holder{steve} for taking the time and effort to produce these trout bum podcasts. Mo and Ark have many fine trout anglers, and I look forward to hearing many more future trout bum podcasts. There is a story to Jeff's mention of Wisconcin. He had invited me to go along to raccine for a few days and I had to decline. Instead I went to taney that night, and the following morning was when I caught the big brown.

Laker, I have heard this story several times and I must say this is the best. I got to hear and remember the details of that day. I don't care who you are this is truely a remarkable catch, a catch of a life time. And you, my friend, paid your dues and earned that catch. "you done good" I must add you were extremly fortunate in haveing people on the creek that did have stream courtesy, it is almost unheard of these days. Kinda the reason I don't trout fish nearly as much as I used to. In the "old days" I can remember of not having anyone with in yards of us. Any ways I injoyed your interveiw.

Thanks Kdan, I certainly miss not seeing you on the creek these days. You and I have had our fair share of discourteous anglers. I decided several years back to not let them ruin my day on the creek. And to admire and acknowledge good courtesy when I encounter it. I'm sure with the crowds these days that most new anglers are overwhelmed with it all. Come on down and night fish with me this summer, we can escape the crowds until september. Good to hear from you again.
