I'm not disputing their right to have fun on the water. I do, however dispute their intelligence when I am 40 ft from the bank & they choose to ignore my right to fish. After all there's plenty of space for all on the lake. My point wasn't that they are acting with malice, but total ignorance & selfishness! You don't need a doctorate in physics to see what that does to a guy trying to fish. The look on my face should have said enough but it didn't seem to since the guy just smiled & waved

I'll have to echo "fishinitup". We all have the right to use the public water just like Jerry Rap said. What is lacking is a sense of ethical behavior. Many of the jet skiiers and some of the standard water skiiers and tubers behave like they own the water. They don't care if you are trying to fish or not. In fact, I have had some of them drive out of their way to come right up on me and make a "U" turn just to bounce me with their wake. I respect their rights when they are on the water and try my best to stay out of their way. It seems like they could do a little better job of respecting the rights of others instead of acting like they own the water.

I'm with all you guys on this one,fishinitup and ranger dave have it right a lack of respect and here is why " the blaring radios" now that tells the story along with those torepeeter boats could run a kid over -- boats don't have brakes !!!

Therefore , I fish early and late and let the idiots have it between 10am and 6pm , and it's to hot that time of day anyway

I think we all have it right. The jet skiers, etc. all have a right to the lake too, but it is their stupidity

The problems. I would prefer they all to to the Rock anyway and leave Stockton to the fishermen.

By the way, i got a feeling our little "get together" on the 1st is going to be pretty interesting with all the crazies at Cedar Ridge.

Well racing a 200+ HP bass boat is a bad idea...and even worse on a jet ski...I've had em do it and have had to cut back on the throttle and "give em the win" to avoid .....the scratches on the bottom of my boat....LOL...I used to think they would figure it out sooner or later....but as I get older...I don't think so....ON PLANE...STAY AWAY...LOL
