I have said this before...... We have Hunter harassment laws..... We should have Fisherman harassment laws......We are certainly not wanting them to stop having fun......We are certainly not wanting them to impede ours. If we had these laws written it would simply be a matter of a cell phone call to report anyone that is acting wrecklessly or is causing close proximity anxiety to a person that is trying to fish. No different than someone using their car or truck to cause anger on the road. As we all know that is NOT ALLOWED!!!!

We do have sportsman harassment laws that apply to hunters and fisherman. The problem is what the definition of harassment is. If you get some tree hugging peta idiot that is throwing rocks toward you to spook away the fish they can be arrested. But someone on a jet ski just running around spooking the fish around your boat gets away with the same thing. I think it all depends on the officer handling the situation. By the way Slowtroller great job on your post. I want to frame it and put it on my wall.

You know, I've seen a lot of lakes that mark off areas for fishing and skiing. Usually, they put the fishing areas in the trees (which makes sense). Would it be nice if they just made up some simple rules to help control the summer frenzy? With all the bridges, making lines wouldn't be too bad.

Was at the 3 hills area yesterday. Didn't see one jetski. Going to have to change areas if I want get my limit. By the way, what is the limit on jetskis? The fishing was slow also, but it was a beautiful day on the lake.
