Members ScottBRay Posted June 28, 2012 Members Posted June 28, 2012 Going to be staying at Cooks Marina does anyone have any advise or suggestions on where to catch fish ?
Bill Butts Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Stayed there last weekend for a family reunion, but didn't fish the lake. However, I did spend some time talking with a very nice young man at the marina store who seemed very knowledgable. I think his name was Lance, wore a Cardinal hat, cant' be all bad. Suggest you look him up, hope name is correct. You might try calling down there, so if you need to buy some additional lures, etc you'd surely get them cheaper at home. Hope this is helpful. Jack Jones Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Scott, relax. The folks on this board will help, but we all enjoy a little levity. I can see you only have a few posts on you. Please reserve judgment until you get to know some of the folks here. No need to name call. Feathers and Fins Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 There is a lot of people who will help you, maybe noone knew anything but there are a few people with colorful joking comments... But i wouldnt suggest your language toward others as a good way to get help. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

powerdive Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 If I knew where Cook's Marina was (never heard of it), I might be able to help, might not. If you're looking for walleyes, that is. A little more info needed, please. As in, the part of the lake you'll be fishing and what you want to fish for. Thanks. Most folks won't give up spots but can tell you what to look for...check Mike Worley's fishing reports. Very reliable info.
kwall Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Scotty, Powerdive is right -- go back in the past posts and Worley is da' man , wouldn't hurt to book him for a trip either , YA' A HOLE lighten up , great guys on here
