wily Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 i'm headed to iowa for a couple weeks -- will be up there about a month due to work. i figure i can only play so much golf...anybody know of any fishing spots in the des moines area. i might bring a little sot kayak if you think it's justified...otherwise i would just wade and fish. i see walnut woods state park -- does raccoon creek have any bass in it? anything else? thanks
ness Posted July 24, 2012 Posted July 24, 2012 I don't know if you'd find this interesting, but I've enjoyed it in the past: http://www.lhf.org/ Living History Farms They've got several farms setup for different time periods, like homesteaders, mid-19th century, early-20th century. John
