justin scobee Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I should have my boat fisnshed this weekend or next so I would like to take my family camping. So where is the best spot? I was wanting to camp at ceder ridge But i cant find a cost for tent camping? or where is the cheapest and best place to camp. It must have a swiming area as well. We will be camping from friday around 5pm to sunday. Any help would be great. Thanks Justin
waterpossum Posted August 2, 2012 Posted August 2, 2012 I googled Stocton Lake Camping and scrolled down to Cedar Ridge. I think you can get prices by doing this. For tent looked like $15-20. A few years ago when we camped there, there were some real nice sites on the east side that overlooked the lake. I would advise touring the sites to see what you like best. There is a nice swimming beach just South of the ramp before you enter the park. There are signs to guide you to the swimming area.

Members Terrell_family Posted August 3, 2012 Members Posted August 3, 2012 If you go to Cedar Ridge, you can buy your spot on the website listed above. If you can get campsite 4. has nice flat area, and nice place to put boat at shore. the big rock that sticks out of the water there, in that cove is where you will be. and you can walk or swim to that rock.
9LB Posted August 10, 2012 Posted August 10, 2012 I like Roark East. Great campsites right on the lake and you have the swimming area. Should be like $12 per night
