Well, I have traded in my rod and reel for my gun and bow. Time to start getting ready to shoot some deer!!

I might take the canoe out one more time since we got this wonderful rain today but that will be all. I'm winterizing the boat and storing it!

are you nuts?! have you seen the deer around here, you might as well go play with mice! the fishing will get better and when its hunting time, thats when the fishing will pick up, the better fishing is in the fall.

I do appreciate all those people who fish only from April through September. The main reason I love fishing in the Winter - less people.

sorry i must of told a secret about fishing is better when they start bow hunting. ya i seen the deer down here and i know i wouldnt be shooting anything that comes close to whats on my wall down here unless you pay alot of money to do it. i love the fact that some fishing is all yr around down here.
