Bryant Creek 8-17-12

Did a float on the Bryant yesterday with Cajun Angler. The water seemed to be up a tad with a little bit of stain. We floated from Sycamore to Warren Bridge.

Fishing was a little slow. The extra water made floating very easy, but I think disrupted normal summer patterns. CA was I'll. He wanted to go so badly that he made the trip when he most likely would have been better served staying home. We got a little bit of a late start as he tried to decide how ill he was.

I was waiting at the take out for CA to arrive when a nice gentlteman and partner put in a canoe at WB. He noticed me waiting and gave me a couple of local fishing magazines to read while I waited. I said Thanks, but would like to say Thanks again if he is an OA guy.

Lots of interesting stuff happened, but CA won't have many happy memories from the trip. I hope he's better today.
