I wouldn't consider it "History" since the project never got finished and is only a couple of years old. More like a display of wealth that fell through and became an eye sore. Sort of like a broke down stretch Hummer in your neighbors yard.

As Stump mentioned, when the fish go to the beds those are good pockets to fish. This past spring when I was in there, people were up there working, although it didnt sound like there were many of them. Definately a project where funding dried up, but I'm not sure it's completely been given up on. They might just be on the 10 year plan now due to funding. However, those are only my assumptions and in no way based on fact.

there were definatly people working on it back in April and May. I was on the lake and drove by it on saturday and it looks the same as it did back in spring... and there are no fish in those pockets in the spring.. that is one area of the lake that is void of any fish life, nothing to see in there
