Gatorjet Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 The question is, is there one? I've looked through the MDC online page, and the only non-resident permit I can find is the annual permit for $42. There is a resident one day permit for $7, but no mention of a non resident daily permit. Personally I don't agree if this is the case. For someone who is just visiting the state for a couple days it wouldn't be worth the 42 bucks just to do a little fishing. Id this is true it appears that the MDC is more concerned with the guy with big bucks coming in for a guided trip of several days than a casual fisherman that might just want to spend a morning fishing while visiting our state. Real men go propless!
Jason R. Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 There is one- its 7$. Bought one the other day. http://flyinthesouth.com/
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted August 23, 2012 Root Admin Posted August 23, 2012 The $7 one day is for anyone who wants to fish, non resident or resident.
Gavin Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 $7 a day isnt bad in comparisson to lots of states..
Gatorjet Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 Thanks. I guess I read it wrong. The only place I saw the one day permit was under resident fishing permits. Real men go propless!
