Help Resoling Wader Boots

I have a 2 year old pair of cabelas waders I bought as a spare. They came with felt sole on the boots and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can purchase replacement rubber soles to put in place of the felt. I have google searched lightly and have found nothing really more than companies willing to charge to do it for you, around $80. Which is just under what I paid for the waders. Any info would be great, Thanks guys.

I had this same question. Might be cheaper to just buy new waders though.

Its $80 for a resole at Gravois Shoe Repair. They did a good job on my wife's wader boots...any Vibram Shoe repair dealer should be able to resole with Vibram Stream Treads. I'd resole if the waders are in good condition. Not aware of any bootfoot waders that come with Vibram Streamtreads...so you might be looking at boots and waders if you decide to buy new. Good Luck.

MDC has instructions on how to do it yourself. Contact cement & a rubber coating.

I think the MDC worked well on my Simms.. so I would recommend that... but if you ever get to Branson, I did hear that Reish Shoes and Boots does it for $40.

What does Reish do? Do they coat the felt or do they replace it with Vibram or some type of legal sole?

I traded my Chota STL's in for their top of the line rubber sole boots and paid the difference.
