ozarkgunner Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 When are you guys going to start throwing it? Angler At Law
drew03cmc Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 Welcome to March...we hashed this out back then and it has been discovered that in Missouri, you can only have three hooks on it, in Kansas, you can only have two. It kind of defeats the purpose. Andy
ozarkgunner Posted September 8, 2012 Author Posted September 8, 2012 Lots of guys did just fine throwing three hooks and two dumbies or blades last year. More interested when guys think it will start to work again. Angler At Law

drew03cmc Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I was just ribbing you. If it is legal, I am fine with it, but it will be a bit unwieldy to cast, IMO. Andy
jeb Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I've started throwing it again on Beaver. Caught my biggest fish on it the other day. But that was the only fish I caught on it. Still, with the water starting to cool a little, it seems like a good thing to have on the deck. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
Feathers and Fins Posted September 8, 2012 Posted September 8, 2012 I wont start throwing it till the shad get in the back of the creeks and in lage surface balls so probably not until Mid to Late October. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
jeb Posted September 9, 2012 Posted September 9, 2012 Caught a couple more on it today. Out on main lake points and humps. Not a magic technique yet or anything, but it's catching fish again. Good to see. John B 08 Skeeter SL210, 225F Yamaha
Dutch Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 When I get a consistant shallow bite I'll pull it out again. I keep one tied on all the time just in case I get the urge.
rainbow Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 The A rig is great for trolling for whites on the Rock. Two dummies and three hooks on 1/2 oz jig heads with soft plastic grubs. Problem is when you get three on at once.
