Winter Rv'ng

I'm looking for a winter RV site in the Ozarks on the eastern half of the state. All I need is a spot to park and a working bathroom... 30amp would be nice... and a shower would be a bonus and allow longer stays. I am looking a central location for hiking and trout fishing. Any ideas?

Montauk is great in the winter time...no showers...but you have a water spigot and electricity. The bathroom in the lodge and the one by the hatchery is heated and open 24/7....plus there is a vault toilet down in loop 4. We usually spend Thanksgiving weekend there...no reservations needed because the CG is almost vacant. Dunno about Bennett.

Johnson shutins sp is leaving the showerhouse and toilet open this winter between the cabins and campground. Lots of hiking around there. Dont for get your orange!

Bennett leaves CG 1 open. They have full hookups (usually). I believe the shower house is open as well. I've spent some winter fishing time there in my Travel Trailer.
