Members joshuapaul Posted November 2, 2012 Members Posted November 2, 2012 Gorgeous! Mind me asking what camera you used? In the market for a new fishing/knockaround P&S... to life! Josh www.towindward.tumblr.com OKC, OK
Geoff Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Thats a Panasonic lumix TS3. i was toren between it and the Nikon 100AW. I almost wish i went with the Nikon just because you can get a clip on filter adapter now, this would really benefit from a polarizer but im thinking of buying the adapter and making it work with the TS3 "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
On The Fly 6 Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Beautiful. Looks like a lot of the clear mountain streams out west! Great photos. Sharps4590 Posted March 9, 2013 Posted March 9, 2013 I see you learned my "secret" to Mill...(the EHC).....if there is a secret. I know every hole in every picture and that creek was still very low. It's now March of 2013 since this thread and I expect the creek is in much better shape. Locally we didn't receive the heavy snow and/or rain of other parts of the state but what we got was desperately needed and greatly appreciated. Last year I didn't fish Mill after April. The early part of the year was because of time and committments...after that it was too (*&*$# hot and I new the creek had to be low. Maybe I'll run over there tomorrow and have a look see. It is one of the treasures of the Missouri Ozarks....if we could just keep the poachers out. Oh....and your photography is abosolutely stunning....wow is all I can think of. I'd rather live my entire life, living as if there is a God and Jesus and to find out at the end that there isn't, than to live my entire life as if there is no God and Jesus and to find out at the end that there is.
Geoff Posted March 11, 2013 Author Posted March 11, 2013 I would appreciate a looksie and a report on how its looking now. I plan to take my mom out there for her first ever wild MO trout experiance end of the month/begining of April, so I hope its in decent shape. Kayser Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I hit it up over the summer, but it was low and super clear. Mainly dinks. Going to let the aquifer recharge before I head there again. WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
