My guess is they will stay the same of go a bit deeper. I'll know more after Wednesday.

Dutch has got it right. They will probably be 25 to 35 feet and the good news is that with the colder weather their will probably be a few more move into the bluff and join those already there.

I hit the bluffs today again. Much slower. Vertually no wind. The 6 keepers I managed to catch were all 30 to 34 feet deep. Caught most on bottom bouncing rigs right tight to the bottom. Water temp was 57 and slightly stained.

Yep they moved deeper but they bit pretty good for us.

didn't get to fish much while working on j hwy bridge. maybe couple of hours after work. fished yesterday till about 1 and did better than I thought I would. 1 pushing 5#. all on jig. love this lake. seen 2 other boats

I'm not familiar with J Hwy in that area unless it is toward Caplinger.

I'm also guessing you weren't crappie fishing.

Well straw hat, I got back out and I think that little front closed them up some. I managed a limit but it took most of the day and they were not to be found in my old spots. This weather coming is going to make it a manly thing to go fishing for the next several days.
