Flysmallie Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 This is something I did for a good friend. The lure and reel belonged to his Grandad. The board beneath is from the home where his Grandmother was born. A large print is being acquired for her Christmas gift. On another note if anyone has a handle for a Plueger Summit 1993-L (pictured above) let me know. It's all this reel is missing.

I have a rod and reel dating from the 30's. It belonged to a prominent Missouri senator. I've Been thinking of a way to preserve / display it. Is your reel also from the 30's? His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
Flysmallie Posted November 21, 2012 Author Posted November 21, 2012 Thanks guys. Not really sure on the year of the reel. All the information I can find says they were introduced in 1935 but I have seen some listed as early 50's models.
