What's Up At Bssp, More Construction?

Noticed on the trout cam that the parking lot above the dam (stripping hole) has barricade fence all around. Also noticed part of a yellow (pump?) piece of equipment below the dam just up from the bridge.Wondered what was going on??Thought maybe NoLuck was redirected to power wash the bridge or something!!

The park must contract out to the same outfit that Charlie Reading does. The freakin' place is in a constant state of unfinished construction. Kinda like the Winchester mansion.

Pat, the last time I was there they were staking out the walk way over from the bridge hole to the top side of the dam. I'm sure thats what was what you saw across the stream with the trailer and barricades. They tried last winter to fix the erosion from everyone walking through there. Maybe this time it will get fixed right. I remember sometime last year that they were talking about a handicap access or a sidewalk type of thing below that balcony in the old hatchery office next to the dam where the old rough poured concrete was.

Maybe that is what you see next to the old hatchery outlet before the stone bridge. So it definately wasn't me since I'm still out here milking this stupid job in NC. It's getting pretty hard to hydroblast when it's 25 degrees. But I will be home around Xmas to do some fishing with the bro.

I over heard someone at the store saying something about a concrete pad going in to prevent errosion. The fisherman replied it was stupid. I think he must have said it was handicap access right below the Dam.
