I have been meaning to post this and keep forgetting.

If you use the ramp stay clear from the RIGHT side looking down the ramp, several boaters have found out the ramp has a drop off and with the shallow water you WILL stick your trailer if you back down to far.

I metered the ramp the other day and everyone needs to start using caution on it as another few inches and its possible most trailers could find that drop off. Remember you dont need the bumper of the truck in the water to launch or take out a boat just enough to float the boat off.

Right side as in if you are looking at the ramp correct? There are two floating docks. One on the right side towards the back of the cove and one towards the main channel. The one on the right near the dock correct?

I noticed last Sunday that someone was kind enough to put some rocks and such in the first couple of "lanes" (on your right as you look TOWARDS the water). I wondered what that was.....

thanks for the help F&F. Tell your buddy thanks for letting us borrow his 8000lb strap - that helped us get er out. Definitely learned to be more careful backing that 23ft trailer with the big deep-v boat on it when the lake is as low as it is

Sam, im sure you would have done the same, Just another heads up FOR EVERYONE, 12 BRIDGE RAMP be very careful cutting between it and the sand bar, I marked it last night and the cut is only 1.7ft right now. Go around the island or your motor will meet rock.

Stripers are in PC but in low numbers I managed a 30lber last night but it was the only bite. still tons and tons of bait but its scattered bad and not balled up.

That's really low and begging for a new lower unit! Thanks for the heads up.
