Football Head Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 What does everyone have? and which would you recommend?
Dutch Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I've never seen a lake master. Who carries them? I run the fishing hot spots and the navionics map cards. Each one of them has its strengths and weankesses.
Football Head Posted December 7, 2012 Author Posted December 7, 2012 Bass Pro and most marine shops carry them. I dont believe the lakemaster chip has been out for too long. Just looking for a little feedback hoping someone had one and could compare it to the navionics card.
West Fork Jason Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I have a lake master chip for wisconsin in my lowrance, it has great detail for the "premier" lakes in the area. For the less popular lakes the detail is much less. Some of the smallest lakes have no bottom detail at all. I've been in friends rigs that have hummingbird/navonics and I was a little more impressed with that setup than mine. http://www.WestForkJason.com
Members KirtH Posted December 15, 2012 Members Posted December 15, 2012 I would highly recommend Navionics, they have more lakes in both HD and regular. You can get free updates for a year thru the Freshest data program, and they also have recently introduced Sonar Charts where you can upload info to Navionics and they will update cartography and you can then update you chip. Here is a link to the Navionics website you can preview your state and get a pretty good idea if the lakes are covered http://www.navionics.com/en/ here is the lake list http://www.navionics.com/en/high-definition-lakes
eyedabassman Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 My vote would be the LakeMaster! I had both and I like LM better!
