Hi-- We are finally settling into life in Eureka Springs after living in the wet side of Washington State for 15 years after living on the far east side of the state. I've been fishing a bit here and am thrilled with the opportunity in both Beaver and Table Rock, not to mention the White River system. While most of my fishing in the past has been in the saltwater for salmon, I really do enjoy bass and walleye fishing and am looking forward to getting back into it.

I recognize couple of familiar names here; it's starting to look familiar.

Hello Keith. I once fished for salmon on a salt water guide boat where the Columbia flows into the ocean. Good fun.

I am out at Holiday Island and fish from Spring to Fall at Table Rock. Feel free to PM for information.

Welcome Keith, lived on the wetside for close to 20 years, and fished the Sound quite a bit. LIke RPS, I'm happy to share info.

I do not know how long you have been cruising or skulking the board, but trust me, if F&F and QB give you info, put it in the bank.

And follow RPS for the scoop on the wallies. For bass, Bill Babler's reports are the best.

Lake Leatherwood is close by you Kjackson, haven't fished it myself, but rumor has it that it has a fair crappie population and decent numbers of bass.

Thanks to all. I recently discovered this board, but the wealth of information on here is astounding. I will be a frequent visitor--maybe too frequent. Looking at the opportunities in the area has me feeling like a kid in a candy store. I want to do it all now, and I would except that "W" word does get in the way. However, I'm thinking that my next trip (on the 4th or 5th) will be to launch at Holiday Island and run upriver in search of walleyes. I fished for walleyes a lot when we lived in Spokane, and it will be good to get back in that game.

While I have only a little experience fishing in the area, if there is anything I can do to help someone out, just let me know.

Thanks again for the welcome.

I would suggest getting a canoe and floating as many Ozark streams as you can. You will be amazed at the scenery, sometime solitude, and you will have to get into smallmouth fishing. Lots of lakes and bigger streams for your boat, but don't overlook the small streams.

Welcome to MO. We moved here from WA in 2006. Used to fish mostly lakes and some streams on the Yakama Reservation. Great trout fishing here if you do your 'homework'. ;)
