shockley32 Posted January 2, 2013 Share Posted January 2, 2013 Started the New Year our right - headed to the lake!!! The temps were cold, the wind sharp but the crappie were hot, hot, hot!!!! If the start of 2013 is any indication of the year to come we have truly been blessed! Fished brush in 20-30 feet of water, 12-20 feet deep. We caught four limits in three hours on just 4 piles. They were stacked and hungry. Caught fish on jigs - white, blue and blue & white. Just verticled jigged over the top of the brush. Here's to hoping you have a crappie year.
