Terry, what color....size....bead....etc is your favorite disco midge? Googled "disco+midge" and found thousands, all different....

Steve at Bass Pro in Branson showed me this fly and am going to try tying this midge at some point today. Looks interesting and look forward to tying it.

Rusty Dun is my personal favorite. I tie in size 18 with a tungsten copper bead and small copper wire.

I catch most of my fish on a midge like this:

Bad Picture- size 16 scud hook, lack and red size small copper wire with a tungsten bead. Black 8/0 uni. I now tie these as slim as possible- seems to work better than this fuller profile.
