Members wormer Posted January 18, 2013 Members Posted January 18, 2013 I might be able to sneak away from work a little early today. Where would you go?
Quillback Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Tough call, I haven't been over to Swepco in a few weeks so don't know how the fishing is over there, but in general I'd say you probably will catch more fish in Swepco than Beaver. But Swepco may have a dozen or more boats on it, whereas on Beaver you'll have more water to yourself.
Sore Thumbs Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Swepco. If you dont have a lot of time it will be more bang for your buck.
Guest Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Swepco if you want to catch fish, Beaver if you want to eagle watch.
Members wormer Posted January 21, 2013 Author Members Posted January 21, 2013 Well thanks to the stomach bug that is going around, I had to play chauffeur Friday afternoon. And then got sick on Saturday. Will try again on Wednesday. Thanks for the replies.
Members wormer Posted January 24, 2013 Author Members Posted January 24, 2013 I did make it out to Swepco for a few hours yesterday. I caught two solid 15" fish on a split shot rig. It was my first time over there and I will be going back.
Quillback Posted January 24, 2013 Posted January 24, 2013 Very nice, did you see many other boats out on the lake?
Members wormer Posted January 24, 2013 Author Members Posted January 24, 2013 I got out there at 3:45pm and got the last parking space.
