Members NickIL Posted January 31, 2013 Members Posted January 31, 2013 After reading about the amount of dirt and debris that reels pick up in the back of the pickup or in the boat on the way to and from the ramp, I began looking into a cheap solution. Rather than making a cover from tarp material and velcro, I decided to make use of my old athletic socks that had seen better days. When slid from the bottom, even the reels on long handled baitcasting or spinning rods, are fully covered. The stretch in the sock and the elastic at the top keeps the cover snug yet easy to slide off and on.

Daryk Campbell Sr Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Good tip :-) Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)
