Members Ranger Dave Posted February 15, 2013 Members Posted February 15, 2013 I was wanting to get on some good white bass and crappie fishing this spring. When do the fish start appearing at the Weir in front of the Truman Dam?
Wayne SW/MO Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 Weir? Looks like the whites are coming up now. It might be early for the crappie to be in the old channel though. Truman dam is one of those places that just begs you to come an see what's there. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

rangerz21 Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 No they will start getting on the weir soon. as they have been releasing water off and on my personal opinion is the get on the weir due to water release with the shas balling up in the channel. the water being released a should pull the bait there and the whites should be right behind them
