Jeremy Rasnick Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Caught the snot out of nice LM bass today near panther bay. Water was 46 degrees. A rigs and grubs on secondary shallow points. Best 5 would have been over 18 lbs. we capped it off with a 20 lb stiper. When the clouds rolled in the fish rolled out.
Riverwhy Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 Thanks for the report. It is sometimes hard to get good information on Lake Norfork. I'm trying to plan my early spring trip and I was a bit worried that the water was too cold yet.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 25, 2013 Root Admin Posted February 25, 2013 Here's a pic of the striper. Matthew83 1
Paco Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 The story I heard was that Ras and his Dad saw this fish strugling on top with a huge shad stuck in its mouth. Ras casted over and foul hooked it..... the rest is history Paco
