Can't help but notice that the Corp has improved the bank at the River Run Access on Bull Shoals.

They've added big shot rock up and down stream of the ramp.

Here are some pics.

It sure is a change but is it an improvement? Have you tried to pick anyone up along the rock?

Their improvement at Beaver Creek is a black top very much smaller parking lot that is cramped and a turn around that is not long enough or wide enough to accomodate today's rigs.

I wish they would consult a fisherman now and then before they make something like that, then maybe they could do it right the first time. While I am ranting, 6 more inches of water will cover the end of the courtesy dock.

I'll get off my sopa box now. :yuush:

I understand. I traversed the rocks yesterday- pretty tricky. They need to dump several loads of fill on the rocks and plant grass. But that'll never happen.

While everybody is complaining, I have one. The fish cleaning station across from the ramp is disgusting. Apparantely there is no water available anymore to help clean. Which in turn has left people just throwing their dead fish in the sink. Awesome people! You gotta love em, lol. Ok I feel better now. Oh by the way. The walleye and whites are going up into Swan after dark.

I will be there or there abouts somewhere with my dog and older son in a white fiberglass boat. Leaving now.

OK remind me to give you plenty of room next time I see you because you have to be one tough dude to be out there with the wind, rain, lightning, and cold. Be save and catch a bunch.

Well I caught a couple whites, trout, and LM Bass. No darn walleye. I advise that nobody ever take advice from me about walleye fishing from here on out. I gave up about 8:30 tonight and headed up into Swan. I crossed the magic line right under the bridge and it looked like stars in the sky. Walleye were everywhere scattered out. I hate walleye. PS: Where was everybody?, lol.
