Stump bumper Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Anyone want to start a pool on high water mark this spring, my guess is it won't hit full pool.
J-Doc Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I'm thinking you're right. Not even sure what it is currently but I saw that they have all the lanes on the ramp open at P. Creek now. It's a shallow slope so its hard as heck to launch but doable. I'm betting a 2-3ft shy of normal pool not knowing what it is currently. Guessing its about 6-7ft low. Feathers and Fins Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Easily hit Full pool, its come up 3ft in a month and more rain expect full pool being only 1120.43 the real question is will we get a major downpour that puts it to top of pool 1130.00? My guess it probably 1125 but if we get back to back storms in short order could see it go to Gates open at 1129. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

J-Doc Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I was at least right about the current level. I said 6-7 and its 6.66 low currently. :-) Knowing that, I guess I can see it come up to normal pool but a real toad strangler again this year......anything can happen but I'm guessing no. Should be 2-3 above normal. That's my final answer. I call "mulligan" on the first one. Lol! Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! Stump bumper Posted March 17, 2013 Author Posted March 17, 2013 I am betting spring rains are a month early and April thru Sept is bone dry.....we will see. Then we could bet 14 inches in a week and wash away Holiday island....
Feathers and Fins Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 i would be happy with a couple more feet, your spot on with the Ramp at PC it sucked loading yesterday. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Guest Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 We're entering the rainy season I doubt we have another drought year. My guess is that its slightly above pool when spring is over June 21st 1122'
1969Larson Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 If I recall, she came up around 15 feet in a week in 2011 so it all depends on the rain... you just never know.
Stump bumper Posted March 18, 2013 Author Posted March 18, 2013 So far I see: SB 1118 ft F&F 1125 ft J-Doc 1123FT 1969 ?? Guess we will use June 21st as cut off and the high water mark between now and then.
