buzzbaitr Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 I have a buddy coming down to fish this weekend at Stockton. I think he's nuts because of the weather, but I told him I would ask you guys what is working on the bass. Depth of course being the most important, where are u guys finding them? And then what are they biting on?
Lvn2Fish Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 The fish I've caught up there recently have been shallow 10 ft and in jigs and jerkbaits. Transitions of rock and the presence of a channel close to spawning bays are key. I haven't been getting alot of bites in a day but some nice fish.
Bassmaster21 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I didnt have much luck today, but caught two quality fish. One 3.5lbs and the other 4lbs. Both on a jerkbait in about 15 feet of water. Just oving down a bank in a cove. Nothing really stand out structure wise.
