Ran to Roaring River fished it in and back out, nada,(temp 50-51) Ran to Leatherwood fished it in and out, zip, Temp 48) Used X-Rap,A-rig,and other favorites. Will have to work at finding them, Good Luck, Duck.
dtrs5kprs Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Thanks much, especially appreciate the temp info.
kjackson Posted March 29, 2013 Posted March 29, 2013 Ouch-- that was my lineup run for today. Thanks for the report. I'm thinking now I may just have to hit Beaver and Indian Creek or Lost Bridge.
Members fishtracker Posted March 30, 2013 Members Posted March 30, 2013 Don't know where the are going to be with the way the temps are. Calling for snow Monday in southwest mo.
kjackson Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 I know where the active biters aren't--Indian Creek arm of Beaver. Fished yesterday with one bite on an A-rig. I did see some fish hitting on top, but it (or they) wasn't interested in a Spook. Water temps were right at 48-50.
BATCAB27 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Fished Blunks Sat from 12-5 only 1 white and 1 short crappie. Saw some guys fishing the fly rod that I think may have been doing ok. Everybody I talked to had about the same luck as us. Did hear of a few being caught up at Taylors. Also had a buddy limit out on crappie down around point 15 on minnows and jigs 15' deep.
